Public marketplace listings (WordPress.org, Chrome Web Store, Shopify App Store), revenue published by founders through payment-provider APIs, and public threads on Hacker News, Reddit, Bluesky, Stack Exchange, the Shopify Community and WordPress.org forums, Lobsters and Dev.to. Are the revenue numbers real?
